The current team of experts keeping you safely in the air are:Frans Grobbelaar whom gained most of his flying experience under the mentorship of the legendary Johan Brink obtaining numerous pilot's licenses on various helicopters after which he proceeded on qualifying as engineer to sign off numerous of the major aircraft. Frans is also a founder member of Trio Aviation. Stoffel Botha started his career in the SAAF from where he proceeded to the then Atlas and concurrently became a founder member of Trio Aviation and is undoubtedly the best component engineer in the Southern Hemisphere! Timmo Waetzoldt is a born and bred Namibian from a German household and has been passionate and involved in aviation since his school days. Johan Odendaal joined the SAAF directly after school and is the Eurocopter specialist in the Trio family. Petrus La Grange has also been involved in aviation all his life after he started his career in the SAAF directly after school and specializes in Eurocopter and all of the piston craft. Graham Magnusson joined Trio on the 1st of April 2008 and is an expert on Robinson R22's and the whole of the Bell range of rotorcraft. Terence Ward completed N4 at Denel and is currently doing his practical at Trio as a permanent employee. Theunis Fouche is the company's Accountable Manager and is responsible to report to the CAA. Theunis has been involved in the aviation industry since 1969. Sonja Kemp is the Office and Administrative Manager and joined Trio in 2004 after 14 years in the aviation industry. Cheryl Landman is the company Secretary and Receptionist. Thomas Nkoma is the Workshop Assistant and works closely with Stoffel Botha. Thomas has also been with Trio since inception days. World Mbewo is the General Assistant and is responsible for the always clean hangar. Jean Motswaledi is probably the most important person because without her dedication there will never be tea or coffee readily available. A very interesting fact is that since the founding of Trio Aviation only one employee decided to leave after only a short term of employment, that says something doesn't it? |
